A report from the Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health (ADOSH) has released new details concerning the tragic warehouse roof collapse that claimed the life of a worker in Phoenix. In the incident that occurred on the evening of July 24, Oswaldo Montoya Torres, a 22-year-old employee at Freeport Logistics Inc., died when strong winds caused a section of the warehouse to succumb to nature’s might. The ABC15 report provides an account of the incident, noting that eight employees were present, with Mr. Torres in a temperature-controlled room on the north side of the warehouse getting breakroom supplies when the storm hit.
