PHOENIX (AZFamily) -Today, the Valley’s highs will be in the low 70s, with a few showers or thunderstorms possible in the afternoon. Not all of the Valley is guaranteed to get rain, and most areas will receive light rainfall. However, some thunderstorms and isolated downpours are possible, especially in the higher terrain north and east of Phoenix metro.
