Phoenix, AZ – The Phoenix area can expect dry, tranquil weather with near-seasonable temperatures through the workweek, according to the National Weather Service Phoenix, Arizona office. Temperatures will stay in the low 80s under sunny skies today, but a cool-down is coming by midweek.
A low-pressure system moving eastward from the Pacific Northwest will bring cooler temperatures by Tuesday, with highs expected to be in the mid-70s. Along with the temperature drop, northerly winds will pick up, with gusts reaching 25-30 mph, especially in higher elevations.
By Wednesday and Thursday, temperatures will bounce back as ridging returns, bringing back warm, dry conditions.
