West-MEC breaks ground on $13.5 million expansion project

PHOENIX – Western Maricopa Education Center (West-MEC) recently broke ground on a $13.5 million expansion of its northeast campus in Phoenix, according to a press release. West-MEC, a career technical education school district serving students in the West Valley, will be expanding with a location at 1617 W. Williams Dr. The expansion will introduce two new training facilities, upgrade equipment and increase space to accommodate more students.
