PHOENIX (AZFamily) -An investigation is underway after firefighters recovered a body from a central Phoenix canal on Saturday afternoon. Phoenix Fire was called to the area of 22nd Avenue and Indian School Road, where firefighters found the body of an adult they say appeared to be beyond resuscitative efforts floating in the canal. The person has not yet been identified.
