TEMPE, Ariz. — A Chicago police officer visiting Arizona who was pulled over and arrested last year has filed a notice of claim against numerous members of the Tempe Police Department, documents state.
Jalen Woods, who is also a police officer in Chicago, was visiting a friend in Arizona in August of 2024. While driving a rental car along Mill Avenue in Tempe on August 23, 2024 at approximately 11:45 p.m., Woods was pulled over and then arrested, according to the notice of claim filed by his legal representation.
