According to the Arizona Weatherman, I hope you enjoyed last week’s weather, with a couple of storms rolling through the state and bringing copious rain and snow, especially on the Rim. Because next week, we will have another go-around with similar impacts. The first storm will impact the state on Tuesday and Wednesday, 11-12 Mar 2025, and right on its heels, a more powerful storm will move in on Thursday and Friday, 13-14 Mar 2025. Yes, the snow apocalypse will hit again on the Mogollon Rim, and rain will hit the state’s southern region.
How much rain and snow are we going to get? It is a little early to put out my final forecast ranges, but they look similar to last week’s event. Apparently, gone are the winter storms bringing in only 1-2 inches in the Flagstaff area; the upcoming systems, especially the second one, are looking to bring in bigger snow loads. Early data indicates more than 6 inches is likely and possibly more for the Flagstaff area. So, get your skies ready to go to Flagstaff with more white stuff coming down.…
