In the late 1920s Dwight B. Heard and William G. Hartranft purchased 80 acres of land in Phoenix and began development on what would become the historic Encanto-Palmcroft neighborhood.
Today, the neighborhood is a maze of curved roads with homes sporting lush landscapes and ornamental streetlights. It’s so picturesque that movies, videos and commercials have been filmed there.
And as with the recent Coronado and Willo historic district home tours, you can see inside some of the most distinctive homes in this neighborhood on the Encanto-Palmcroft home tour on Sunday, March 16.
