Man gets 17 years for shooting at officer in high-speed Pinal County, Chandler chase

Jonathan Altland, who was convicted of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and unlawful flight, has been sentenced to 17 years in prison, the Pinal County Attorney’s Office announced Friday.

On April 29, 2021, PCSO Deputy Nathaniel Clark attempted a traffic stop on Altland near Picacho. Altland sped away, driving more than 120 mph, according to a PCAO release.
