On Tuesday, Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallefo announced that STARLUX Airlines will begin a new nonstop flight between Phoenix and Taipei’s Taoyuan Airport. The flights would begin early next year, with three to four weekly flights. The announcement comes shortly after the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) broke ground on a third facility in north Phoenix and invested $100 billion in Arizona microchip manufacturing.
