Scottsdale witnessed a tragic turn of events on Tuesday afternoon as a shooting occurred near the intersection of Miller and McDowell roads. According to FOX 10 Phoenix, the Scottsdale Police Department reported that the incident, which took place around 4:40 p.m., resulted in the death of one man, with another man arrested at the scene.
Officers and other emergency personnel, including a SWAT team and several police units, responded swiftly to the scene. The second man, arrested in connection with the killing, was also taken to the hospital, although reports indicated he was not injured in the shooting. In a statement obtained by FOX 10 Phoenix, Scottsdale Police Sgt. Allison Sempsis conveyed, “Officers arrived and a man was transported to the hospital. Sadly, he has died from his injuries. One man was taken into custody, and he too was transported to the hospital.”
