Hundreds of people who live near Shalimar Golf Course in Tempe voiced their opposition to a developer’s plans to turn the golf course into homes and townhouses. Many are not against development, but they don’t want the golf course gone. The soon-to-be former owner of the land, Jane Neuheisel, said she supports the changes. Casey Torres reports.
