PHOENIX (AZFamily) —Jo Ann Minor and her sister, Deb Reed, say that because of On Your Side, they couldn’t be happier.
In a previous On Your Side report, the two siblings explained how they booked a flight to Naples, Italy, for themselves and a third sister. They’ve been to Italy before and wanted to go again. On Your Side’s Gary Harper asked, “You normally use a travel agent, you didn’t this time?” Jo Ann replied, “Exactly. This time, Deb decided she’d go ahead and do all the arrangements herself, and she decided to go through Booking.com.”
Booking.com is one of the largest travel agencies around. The three sisters paid the travel company just over $3,071, but the women canceled an hour later when they realized their departure dates wouldn’t work after all. That’s when Booking.com sent them this email saying no problem and that they should expect a full refund in just a few days…
