PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A Phoenix area charter high school for adults is preparing for this year’s graduation, which will be its largest yet! And that is something good!
Goodwill’s Excel Center is a tuition-free charter school for students 18 and older without a high school diploma. Founded in 2022, the school also helps its graduates complete job-specific training and certifications to advance their career paths.
One of those students is a 34-year-old woman from Chandler named Erika. After a years-long battle with addiction, Erika turned her life around and enrolled at the Excel Center last year. Now, she’s set to graduate on the school’s honor roll with straight A’s!…
