New Tempe traffic cameras catch thousands of offenders in first two weeks

TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily) — Fourteen intersections throughout the city of Tempe have new traffic cameras meant to force people to slow down. So far, police said these cameras are catching a lot of bad drivers.

“Coming from California, I feel like Arizona definitely has like a speeding problem and it kind of makes it feel more dangerous to drive on the street, a little more scary,” said ASU student Emily Rubio.
