Person struck, killed while pushing stalled car on I-10 in west Phoenix

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Arizona Department of Public Safety says a person pushing a stalled sedan was struck and killed early Sunday morning.

DPS troopers say the collision caused an hours-long closure on the eastbound lanes of I-10 near 43rd Avenue.

Authorities say around 2:30 a.m. a Nissan Altima sedan was being pushed by its driver after it became disabled. At that time, a Toyota Scion then struck the person pushing the Nissan, killing them…
