PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Phoenix police say an elderly man is accused of shooting and killing his son-in-law at a north Phoenix home Monday evening.
Authorities say Robert Angelo Feola, 85, was booked into jail on a murder charge after initially being questioned that night.
Police showed up at the home near 14th Street and Topeka Drive, north of Union Hills Road, around 7:40 p.m. When they arrived, they found a man, now identified as 60-year-old Karl Derek Thau, who had been shot. He died at the scene.
Officers detained Feola for questioning, and he was later taken to jail after being interviewed by detectives. A possible motive has not been released, but investigators are still working to learn more about what led up to the shooting…
