PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Phoenix’s newest top officer was sworn in on Thursday morning.
Matt Giordano began his tenure as Phoenix Police Chief on Aug. 11 after he was selected for the position in July.
Chief Giordano is a 23-year veteran of the Phoenix Police Department and retired as a commander in 2017. He also served as Executive Chief of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and, most recently, as the Executive Director of the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board (AZPOST)…
