Crash causes early morning closure on Loop 202 in Phoenix

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A Phoenix freeway was closed in one direction early Friday morning after a serious crash.

Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers responded to the crash on the eastbound Loop 202 Red Mountain freeway near 40th Street just before 4 a.m.

Arizona’s Family crews at the scene could see at least one person being taken to the hospital and two involved vehicles. DPS confirmed one person has non-life-threatening injuries.
