Peoria recently approved a series of agreements that would shift the development of a semiconductor facility to another location. The move brings relief to residents of Vistancia, a master planned community who opposed bringing the project into their area.
Peoria is the successful bidder on more than 830 acres of land at the intersection of the Loop 303 and Lake Pleasant Parkway. It means Amkor Technology will now bring their facility there and out of Five North at Vistancia, a mixed-use development located within the 7,100-acre master planned community.
