Phoenix, United States – August 31, 2025 08/31/2025 04:04 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix firefighters responded early Sunday morning to the area of 36th Street and Columbine Drive to reports of a house fire. Firefighters arrived on scene and located a two-story house with heavy smoke showing from the roof and windows. Firefighters entered the house and began an offensive fire attack. Heavy fire erupted from the roof of the house. Firefighters were able to gain control of the fire in approximately 40 minutes. Firefighters determined the home was vacant at the time of the fire.
