Teen arrested days after deadly downtown Phoenix shooting

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Police have identified and arrested a teenage suspect in a shooting that left a man dead in downtown Phoenix last month.

Officers responded to the shooting at 7th Street and Buckeye Road around 10:45 p.m. on Aug. 21, where they found 45-year-old Porfirio Medina seriously injured with at least one gunshot wound.

Medina was transported to a hospital, where he later died. Maricopa County Office of the Medical Examiner has classified his cause of death as a homicide…
