Scottsdale police seek suspect accused of killing man in ‘targeted attack’

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — Police in Scottsdale are searching for an accused killer after a man was found dead earlier this week in what investigators called a “targeted attack.”

On Thursday, Scottsdale police said they identified the suspect as Matthew Dieringer, who was described as having a history of homelessness and known to be “manipulative” and “charismatic.”

Investigators said he is known to befriend others to help him with a place to stay, but warned that he is dangerous, and are asking the public not to approach, and instead call 911…
