A man died at a hospital Monday following a pair of officer-involved shootings near 3500 West Washington Street, Phoenix police said.
Officers assigned to South Mountain Precinct responded about 12:10 p.m. Sept. 8 to an armed robbery near 35th Avenue and Fillmore Street where they were told a man had pointed a handgun at a man and took his cell phone, according to a Phoenix Police Department release.
