Phoenix gas prices keep rising, 50 cents higher than last year

PHOENIX — The average price for gas in the Valley is continuing to rise and costs are now about 50 cents higher compared to last year.

Prices have risen about 32 cents since last month, with Phoenix’s average reaching $3.89 per gallon, according to GasBuddy’s survey of over 1,000 stations in the Valley. The most expensive gas price in the Phoenix area is $4.79 per gallon.
