Prison sentence issued after 68,000 fentanyl, meth pills found in Glendale home

GLENDALE, Ariz. — A man has been sentenced to seven years in prison after he was connected to a Valley home where investigators reportedly found thousands of fentanyl and methamphetamine pills.

The Arizona Attorney General’s Office said Yeremy Amaya-Macias was recently sentenced in Maricopa County Superior Court after he was charged with illegally conducting an enterprise.

In 2022, Glendale police responded to an empty residence for a trespassing call and reported finding a large amount of illegal drugs. In total, investigators seized 68,000 pills and 240 pounds of meth from the residence…
