Man indicted for Peoria road rage shooting that injured woman

PHOENIX — A West Valley man has been indicted in connection with a road rage incident last month, when a woman was injured after being shot in the leg, prosecutors announced.

The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office said Monday that 20-year-old Rudy Sanchez Jr. was indicted on two counts of aggravated assault and one count each of drive-by shooting, discharge of a firearm at a structure and unlawful discharge of a firearm.

He is currently being held on a $250,000 cash bond. His trial is scheduled to begin in late February 2026.
