Budget airline adds new routes from Phoenix area

MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — A low-cost airline is adding more nonstop flight options for travelers out of the Valley.

Allegiant Airlines introduced three new routes out of Mesa Gateway Airport, starting early next year.

  • La Crosse, Wisconsin via La Crosse Regional Airport (LSE) beginning Feb. 6, 2026,, with one-way fares as low as $69.
  • Santa Ana, California via John Wayne Airport (SNA) beginning Feb. 12, 2026,, with one-way fares as low as $39.
  • Bloomington, Illinois via Central Illinois Regional Airport (BMI) beginning Feb. 13, 2026, with one-way fares as low as $69.

The three new routes from Arizona are part of a nationwide Allegiant expansion, with the airline adding 30 new nonstop flights to 35 cities in early 2026.
