MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — A deadly crash has partially shut down a portion of a busy East Valley freeway on Wednesday morning.
The single-car crash was reported on the westbound lanes of the Loop 202 Red Mountain near Gilbert Road. According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a vehicle spun out and struck the wall and guardrail.
Arizona’s Family news chopper witnessed troopers blocking the freeway with patrol vehicles and a damaged car next to the mangled guardrail. Firefighters were also on scene working to pull someone out of the vehicle…
