Following the sound of gunfire on a peaceful Sunday evening, Glendale police detectives encountered a scene of sudden death just steps away from an apartment complex at North 93rd Avenue and West Entertainment Boulevard. As reported by FOX 10 Phoenix, the detectives were in the middle of traffic control duties when they heard three gunshots, followed by voices raised in alarm, at around 6 p.m.
The officers, reacting to the commotion, discovered 40-year-old Braulio Parra Sillas lying mortally wounded near the front door of the residence, his life ebbing away from a gunshot injury. In the chaotic aftermath, an unspecified number of individuals from within the apartment were detained, including the party who was alleged to have discharged the firearm.
