Tempe to hold public meetings on potential speed limit reductions

Tempe has scheduled public meetings for Tuesday on a proposal to reduce speed limits on seven city roadways. Changes could take effect in early March.

Five-mile-per-hour speed-limit reductions are proposed for parts of Broadway, Guadalupe, Miller and McKellips roads. Also affected would be Priest Drive, Veterans Way, and Fifth and Roosevelt streets.
