Phoenix Police detectives are investigating an officer-involved shooting on Sunday.
Officers were responding to the area near Seventh Avenue and Yukon Drive in response to calls about a man in the neighborhood with a gun, according to a press release.
When officers found the man, who had a handgun, he allegedly refused commands and advanced on officers and raised the gun. Police then shot the suspect at least one time. He was transported to the hospital where he died, according to the release…
