PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A section of a central Phoenix freeway is closed following a multiple-vehicle crash involving early Tuesday afternoon.
The collision happened around 12:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 17 just north of the Camelback Road overpass.
Video from the AZFamily news chopper showed the crash involved a commercial flatbed truck and two heavily-damaged SUVs.
