An Asian fusion restaurant inspired by coastal cities across Southeast Asia is opening its first location outside of California in early 2026. Starfish Scottsdale will be located at the intersection of Hayden Road and Via de Ventura.
Based in Orange County, Starfish Hospitality Group runs restaurants in Newport Beach and Laguna Beach, as well as catering. Gretchen and Archie McConnell founded the business in 2011, inspired by their travels across Asia.
“We didn’t want to be limited to just one region or style, we wanted to offer everything from wok classics to sushi, from spicy noodles to comforting curries,” the McConnells said in a written statement.
