Man sentenced in Mesa Circle K robbery where he threatened clerk with knife

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A 34-year-old man has learned his punishment for an armed robbery at an East Valley gas station earlier this year.

The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office announced Monday that Cameron Davis was sentenced to 9.5 years in prison after pleading guilty to a count of armed robbery.

Authorities said the robbery happened at the Circle K off Broadway and Crimson roads in April 2025. Surveillance video released by prosecutors showed Davis near the convenience store’s fridge before he walked behind the counter, where he was seen grabbing cigarettes…
