Driver in ‘suspicious car’ flees from deputies, crashes into pole in Glendale

GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — Two people were hurt after a driver deemed suspicious by authorities sped away before crashing into a pole in the West Valley on Monday morning, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO)

MCSO said it happened just after midnight, when deputies spotted a suspicious vehicle parked near several businesses at Citrus Road and Glendale Avenue, which is west of the Loop 303.

When deputies pulled up to the car, which was sporting a fake license plate, sped off and turned onto Loop 303…
