According to FOX 10 Phoenix, on December 22, officers were called to a canal near Osborn Road and 55th Avenue at approximately 1:40 p.m after reports of a body in the water. Despite the immediate absence of a victim upon their arrival, a dive team’s thorough search later led to the retrieval of what appeared to be an adult man’s body.
Prior to this incident, another unsettling discovery was made close to 35th Avenue and Indian School Road, roughly a 20-minute drive away, where an unidentified man’s body was located around 10:20 a.m. the previous day. As reported by FOX 10 Phoenix, the details surrounding the identities of the deceased and the causes of death are being withheld pending post-mortem examinations, integrally woven into the fabric of an ongoing investigation.
In a separate but potentially linked situation, AZ Family notes that yet another body was discovered earlier on December 21 in the Maryvale neighborhood’s canal near 39th Avenue and Whitton Avenue.
