SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — Detectives are investigating after a man was stabbed during an attempted robbery in the East Valley overnight.
Scottsdale Police said officers were notified of a man at a Mesa hospital who had been stabbed somewhere in Scottsdale.
According to police, the man told officers that he was riding his bike when a man attempted to rob him of his bike. When the victim refused, the suspect stabbed him with a knife.
The stabbing victim was able to ride the bike away to a friend’s house, where they called police. The man was then taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said…
