Docs: Argument over $5 ends with man killing brother at Phoenix apartment

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — An argument over a five-dollar bill turned physical, leading to a man stabbing his brother at a central Phoenix apartment over the weekend.

On Sunday, shortly before midnight, Phoenix police were called to the stabbing at an apartment near 17th Street and Cambridge Avenue, just south of Thomas Road.

According to court documents, Ali-Ondre Hampton, 24, called 911 and said he had stabbed his brother, Timotheus Hampton, 30. Investigators say he was attempting to apply pressure to the wound as authorities were en route…
