AVONDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — A man accused of severely injuring a stranger with a hatchet in the West Valley over the weekend claims he did it because he heard rumors that the victim had committed crimes, according to court documents released on Tuesday.
Oscar Funes, 41, is jailed for allegedly attacking a man while he slept at his Avondale home, reportedly leaving him with “unsurvivable” injuries.
