After months of continued hearings and revisions, the Gilbert Town Council last week rejected a 311-acre development proposed by Lennar Homes despite town staff recommending approval of a revised plan that it said met municipal standards.
In a 4–3 vote, the council turned thumbs down on the Harvest Grove project, a large-scale residential and commercial development planned for the southeast corner of Germann Road and Val Vista Drive.
