PHOENIX — The man who allegedly broke into a Valley home and fired several gunshots, resulting in a Phoenix police officer fatally shooting one of the home’s occupants, is facing several felony charges.

Court records have identified Edgar Garcia, 33, as the suspect who allegedly caused a violent commotion at a home near 75th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road that resulted in Phoenix police shooting 36-year-old Christian Diaz Rendon on the night of Jan. 26.
