PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Jewel’s Bakery & Cafe is a family-owned, 100% gluten-free restaurant in Phoenix specializing in comfort food, brunch, and baked goods.
Owner Julie Moreno was inspired to change the way she baked 14 years ago when her daughter was having health issues and was unable to eat gluten and many other foods. Julie grew up cooking and baking as a little girl and made it her mission to create more gluten-free options for her family.
Word got out, and she was soon selling at farmers’ markets, restaurants, and the business grew into a brick-and-mortar storefront and cafe.
