TSA PreCheck Touchless ID launches at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has launched TSA PreCheck Touchless ID, a new facial recognition technology that allows travelers with PreCheck to go through security without showing identification.

The technology launched in Terminal 3 and is expanding to Terminal 4 over the next two weeks, according to TSA officials.

How TSA PreCheck Touchless works

Travelers must first enroll through a participating airline’s website by providing passport information and personal details. When checking in, eligible passengers will see “TSA Touchless PreCheck” printed on their boarding pass.
