A normally quiet stretch of Peoria’s Vistancia neighborhood turned into an active investigation Tuesday after a fatal traffic incident left one person dead, according to police. Detectives spent hours at a residential scene near El Mirage Road and Vistancia Boulevard, carefully documenting the area as officers guarded the perimeter. So far, authorities have released few details about the victim or what led up to the deadly incident.
According to 12 News, Sky12 aerial footage showed crime scene tape surrounding a home and a car partially backed out of a driveway while investigators worked.
