2 sentenced to prison for murdering 17-year-old in Phoenix

PHOENIX — Two people have been sentenced to prison for a deadly robbery in Phoenix that resulted in the death of a teenager.

On July 28, 2024, a 17-year-old boy was shot to death near 7th Avenue and Buckeye Road. Two individuals, 19-year-old Agel Chan Ring and 20-year-old Nathan Da Ron James, were later arrested for being involved in the incident.

The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office recently announced that both defendants have been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder. Ring was sentenced to 22 years in prison and James received a 13-year prison term, MCAO said…
