MESA, Ariz. — Mesa Public Schools eliminated several job positions this week as the large school district grapples with enrollment issues.
During a meeting on Feb. 26, the district’s Governing Board approved a personnel item that included a “reduction in force” for 50 positions. The reduction takes effect on May 22 for a majority of those positions.
