Man sentenced in 2020 Christmas shooting that killed Phoenix Circle K clerk

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man who shot and killed a young Circle K clerk in the west Phoenix area of Maryvale on Christmas in 2020 learned his punishment for the crime Friday afternoon.

Timothy Bell, 30, was sentenced to 25 years for second-degree murder, 14 years for the robbery charge, and 10 years for weapons misconduct, with credit for time already served.

The sentences will run consecutively, meaning they will be completed one at a time. That amounts to nearly 50 years in prison…
