Houston-based developer NewQuest is leading the conversion and is pitching the property as a curated cluster of Asian retail and dining tenants, according to NewQuest. The City of Glendale had already spotlighted 99 Ranch Market among the expected arrivals at Arrowhead, per the City of Glendale.
Planning documents label the concept “The Mosaic” and show the revamp filling the old Sears footprint at Arrowhead Towne Center, with 99 Ranch planned for the mall’s first floor. Those same documents sketch out tongue-in-cheek internal corridor names, including “Miso Hungry Road” and “Sake to Me Street,” to give the space a food hall style vibe.
