Grand jury indicts woman accused of abducting 2-year-old from Avondale home

AVONDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — The woman accused of abducting a toddler from an Avondale home last month, triggering a statewide Amber Alert, has been indicted on two felony charges.

A grand jury on Wednesday indicted 23-year-old Marina Noriega on charges of custodial interference and second-degree burglary, Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell announced Friday.

Authorities allege Noriega took a 2-year-old girl from a home near 118th Avenue and Edgemont Street on Feb. 20 before the pair was found safe at a gas station in Phoenix two days later…
